Golden Rams Society Executive Board
Each year, our Golden Rams Society (GRS) members nominate and vote on a group of deeply dedicated students to partner with the Foundation’s Annual Fund Coordinator. Together, they guide members in learning about philanthropy and in strengthening the culture of giving at WCU.
President
As the student leader of the Society, they plan and organize all Executive Board meetings and recruitment activities, including tabling at events. They work closely with the Annual Fund Coordinator to run the Society and serve as the face of the Society at larger events.
Vice President
As right hand to the President, this position assists in the planning and running of Executive Board meetings. They hold the responsibility of recruiting students and advocating for GRS participation at events, and represent the Society alongside the President.
Secretary
This position assists both the Executive Board and the Annual Fund Coordinator in documenting all meetings, events, and student participation. They also keep Society members informed of upcoming events and help ensure is member is meeting Society requirements.
University Relations Chair
This position serves as the bridge between the Foundation and the WCU campus, working with University Student Organizations (USO) to help advocate for the GRS when necessary. They also assist the President and Vice President to identify events that will benefit members.
Marketing Coordinator
This position serves as the social media manager for the GRS. They manage all GRS social media accounts and help to manage the Society’s public image. Responsibilities including taking and/or obtaining event photos and posting them to social media pages, as appropriate, and assisting with senior gift planning and execution.
