Support EITC programs

When you contribute to the following programs through WCU Foundation, your organization can become eligible for educational improvement tax credits (EITC) applied against your tax liability in the state of Pennsylvania.

Frederick Douglass Institute

WCU is proud to lead support for FDI, an educational and cultural resource for advancing multicultural studies across the curriculum. Dedicated to deepening the intellectual heritage of former slave and distinguished writer Frederick Douglass, the Institute advances its mission through conferences, awards, graduate assistantship programs, and scholarship funding.

iCamp

iCamp is a free media academy held during the summer at WCU. Here, high school juniors and rising seniors from the Philadelphia school district learn how to make media that matters. As part of this program, they live on campus and learn skills that allow them to produce films, video games, audio programming, and web sites, all with a focus on effecting social change through youth.

Health Careers Summer Academy

In collaboration with Main Line Health, the College of Health Sciences offers the free Health Careers Summer Academy for high school students interested in the health sciences Attendees, especially those from underserved communities, learn from WCU health sciences faculty and students, complete CPR and AED certified training, and attend programming at the Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA.
