Women in Leadership and Service

Women in Leadership and Service (WILS) was launched in 2009 to inspire, educate, and encourage individuals to make a positive impact on future generations of women at West Chester University (WCU).  Through philanthropy and networking, WILS encourages individuals of all generations to become active in the lives of today's WCU women.



Mission

  • To increase funding that supports female students at WCU
  • To empower women to utilize philanthropy as a method of impacting and shaping future generations of WCU women
  • To increase the visibility of female leaders, mentors, and supporters of West Chester University



How WILS Supports the Women of WCU

Scholarships

WILS awards a $5,000 scholarship annually to assist a female student who demonstrates qualities of leadership and service.

Mentoring

WILS offers Alice's Circle, a 10-month long mentoring program aimed at enhacing the growth of college women as they transition from their final year at WCU to their professional careers or graduate school.'

How You Can Help the Women of WCU

Volunteer with WILS

Donate to the WILS Endowment Fund

Your donation will help us create an endowment fund that will allow for scholarships to be awarded to WCU women in perpetuity.
