The WCU Foundation’s annual signature events allows us to engage, educate, and thank our loyal donors.
West Chester University Presidential Scholarship Community Gala
Held at the historic Longwood Gardens, this black-tie event singularly funds Presidential Scholarships for WCU students who have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence. Attendees enjoy gourmet food, live music, and after-hours access to the Gardens’ Conservatory.
The Presidential Gold Box Experience
Sponsored by the University, WCU Athletics, and the WCU Foundation, this event is personally hosted by University President Christopher Fiorentino and Susan Fiorentino. Loyal benefactors and Rams fans can enjoy premier seating, a pre-game social, and a halftime performance by the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band.
President’s Circle Ceremony
Each fall, this event recognizes members of the President’s Circle who have contributed $1,000 or more in the previous fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). The dinner also welcomes new members of our giving societies: the Heritage Society, Carillon Society, President’s Circle Annual Honor Roll and Community Partners.
The WCU Foundation also partners with the University on events including Family Weekend and scholarship award ceremonies, in addition to monetarily sponsoring the President’s Speakers Series.
